Request deletion of your Enquiry Genie account

Enquiry Genie does not offer instant in-app account deletion. To protect your data, deletion requests are reviewed and processed manually by our team.

How to request deletion

  1. Email [email protected] from the same email address registered on your Enquiry Genie account.
  2. Use the subject line: Account deletion request.
  3. In the message, confirm that you want your Enquiry Genie account and associated personal data deleted.
  4. We will verify your identity and confirm by email before processing the deletion.

What we delete

After we process your request, we remove or disconnect personal data including:

  • Profile and account settings tied to your email address
  • Gmail / Microsoft OAuth access (tokens revoked; we lose inbox access)
  • Email messages, enquiry threads, and AI reply history stored in Enquiry Genie
  • Email embeddings and tone analysis used for your replies
  • Property details, FAQs, and property knowledge you added
  • Experiments, ranking samples, and personal analytics caches
  • Platform connection cookies (e.g. Airbnb) stored for your account
  • Active Stripe subscriptions (cancelled when your account is deleted)

What we keep (and why)

  • Payment records in Stripe — retained by Stripe for up to 7 years for tax and legal compliance. We cannot delete Stripe's records.
  • Deletion audit log — your email address, deletion timestamp, and request reference only, kept for compliance.
  • Anonymized market statistics — some aggregated listing/conversion metrics may be retained without personal identifiers after anonymization.
  • Encrypted backups — may contain your data for up to 30 days after deletion, then rotated and permanently removed.

How long deletion takes

  • We aim to complete verified deletion requests within 30 days.
  • Most personal data is removed when we process your request.
  • Backup copies may persist for up to 30 days before automatic removal.

Stop email access without deleting your account

To stop Enquiry Genie from accessing Gmail without closing your account, revoke access in your Google Account permissions. We will no longer sync or process new email for that account. Existing data remains until you request full account deletion.
